My flesh and blood created from the earthly soil, Is laden with sin from Adam and Eve.
O Father I need your oil to give me the strength to continue to believe. Father I need your blessing, please anoint my head with your holy oil. I'm unworthy and I'm confessing to you that I must always be loyal. From sun up to sun down, it's you who I can call upon. You're my only friend that's ever around. No matter what time of the day: morning, noon, night, or dawn. O Father, please anoint me with your holy oil. For my soul suffers inside, so hot, it's ready to boil. You know my trials; only in you will I confide. Life my spirit up with your power so I can achieve my earthly goals. Saturated me with oil from your cup, and release this bondage which has taken hold.
